How much does a website cost in Thailand?
A plain guide to what small business websites cost in Thailand, what is usually included, and what to watch out for.
The short answer
For a small business in Thailand, a professional website typically costs from around ฿9,000 for a focused five page site up to ฿26,000 or more for a bespoke site with a built-in business system. Prices vary depending on the number of pages and any extra functionality such as online booking or an online shop.
The prices below are mine. They apply to standard projects, and final pricing may vary depending on your requirements.
Design fee and monthly maintenance
Most of my packages are a design fee plus a monthly maintenance fee of ฿1,700 or ฿2,100. The maintenance fee covers hosting, security updates, regular backups, minor fixes, text and photo updates, basic SEO monitoring and technical support.
If you would rather pay once, my one-off website is ฿15,000 with no monthly fee.
What to check before you buy a website
Ask whether hosting, your domain and SSL are included, how many pages you get, who owns the site, how long it takes, whether it works well on a phone and in Thai and English, and whether you can see a draft before paying. I include hosting, domain and SSL for the first year, show you a free draft first, and you deal directly with me, the person building your site.
