Do you need a website, or is a Facebook page enough?
Many small businesses in Thailand run on Facebook and LINE alone. Here is what they do well, where they fall short, and when a website is worth having.
What a Facebook page does well
A Facebook page is free, quick to set up and a good place to share updates, photos and reviews with people who already follow you. For many local businesses it is where regulars find out what is new, and LINE is useful for chatting with customers you already know.
Where a Facebook page falls short
You do not own it, so the platform controls who sees your posts and how the page looks. It rarely shows up for the searches that bring in new customers, such as a service plus your city, and it cannot take bookings, sell products or present your prices as clearly as a purpose-built site.
A page can also look inconsistent to someone who has never heard of you, while a website lets you control the first impression. Visitors who do not use Facebook or LINE cannot find you at all.
When a website is worth having
A website is worth it when you want new customers to find you on Google, when you want to take bookings or orders online, or when you want to look established next to competitors. It works alongside Facebook and LINE and does not replace them: your page sends people to your site, and your site links to your page.

Get your free draft
Contact me on LINE and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I will then talk through the sort of design you are looking for, what your business does, who you want to reach and any specific designs, colours or styles you like. From there I create a free draft for you to have a look at, with no obligation and nothing to pay up front.
